Finally!
You all may have remembered that I have been complaining for years that there is no German equivalent for the American baking soda toothpastes, but I take it back: thanks to Corinna I now know what to use. It is terrific, better than the American version.

Oops! I looked this up for you for a future blog article on household products but forgot about telling you. In addition to Parodontax Classic and mit Flourid, there is SUPER WHITE Original Zahnpasta, Weleda Sole Zahncreme, One Drop Only Zahncreme Konzentrat, and Mira X Dent Nano Sensitive hca.
My favourite brand of toothpaste is Crest which you can by in the USA & England but not in Germany.
When I examine the English packaging I discovered that it is actually made in Germany!
BTW - I saw on the Internet somewhere a reciepe on how to make homemade baking soda toothpaste :)

christina: Thanks for the info... I got the tip from an ex-student of mine who is romantically involved with a German Dentist, so she should know!
Paradontax is great and not so highly sweetened as American toothpastes are, it is more of a herbal thing

I've noticed that German's generally have yellower teeth than Americans -- and either they don't notice or they don't care. Or there haven't been good whitening toothpastes... till now!
